Housing

Limited subsidized housing is available for residents. In addition, the NYU Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery provides a housing subsidy to all its residents.

Benefits

In addition to the benefits detailed in the Graduate Medical Education Policy Information, each incoming resident receives a set of surgical loops. In addition, residents receive a $500 dollar stipend per training year towards the purchase of medical education books.
